The Los Gatos Athletic Club Policy Regarding Private Information
We understand that medical information about our clients and their health is personal. We are committed to protecting medical information about our clients under the terms of HIPAA (Health Portability and Accountability Act of 1996). We use a client’s medical record to provide them with information needed to support their training program and to comply with certain legal requirements. Our HIPAA policy defines the protocol which tells our clients about the ways in which we may use and share protected health information ("PHI"). This policy also describes a client’s rights and certain actions we must take when using or sharing the PHI with other people or organizations.
